Malayalam Movies Releasing in June 2026

With May getting packed with big releases like Drishyam 3, Patriot and Thiradi, several films have shifted into the June release window. Traditionally, June is not considered a strong season for Malayalam cinema. Schools reopen around this time, monsoon peaks across Kerala, and overall theatre footfall usually drops compared to festival periods.

Even with that, this June lineup has a few notable titles. Mollywood Times starring Nelson, Varavu starring Joju George, and Balan directed by Chidambaram are among the films currently confirmed for the month. Balan especially stands out because of the expectations around Chidambaram after Manjummel Boys.
