Kerala Box Office 2026: Hit and Flop Malayalam Movies List
The Kerala box office had a slow start in early 2026, but the market picked up significantly with Aadu 3 and Vaazha II, both emerging as major successes. Drishyam 3, released in May, became another blockbuster despite receiving mixed reviews, reaffirming the strength of established franchises. In contrast, Patriot struggled at the box office despite its huge star cast, while big releases such as Pallichattambi and Kattalan also failed to make an impact.
The Onam season produced a clear winner in Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, which has turned into a major blockbuster and is now targeting an industry-hit status. Khalifa and I’m Game, however, failed to match expectations, making the contrasting fortunes of the Onam releases one of the biggest talking points of the year.
