Malayalam Movies Releasing in April 2026

Riding on the success of Aadu 3, which released in March 2026, the April lineup kicks off with the Vishu releases. Leading the pack is Vaazha 2, featuring a bunch of Instagram creators and newcomers, building on the popularity of its first part.

This is followed by the big-budget Pallichattambi, starring Tovino Thomas and Kayadu Lohar, which is expected to draw strong theatre crowds. Alongside these, smaller films like Madhuvidhu and Mohiniyattam are also set to release, adding variety to the April schedule.

Even though biggies like Drishyam 3 and Patriot have been postponed, theatres are still expected to stay busy, thanks to a steady lineup of mid-range and smaller films competing for audience attention this Vishu season.
