Aadu 3 Advance Booking Opens Today at 5 PM, Film Releases on March 19
Aadu 3, the much-anticipated Malayalam film starring Jayasurya, will open its advance bookings from 5 PM today. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on March 19, 2026, coinciding with the Eid holiday.
Kerala theatres have remained relatively quiet over the past few weeks. With no major releases around the Eid period and several recent films failing to perform at the box office, theatre owners are now pinning their hopes on Aadu 3 to revive footfalls. Many exhibitors believe the film has the potential to turn the tide and provide some relief to the industry during what has been a slow phase.
There were earlier reports that the release might be postponed due to the ongoing war situation affecting overseas markets, a key revenue source for Malayalam cinema. However, delaying the film appears unlikely. April already has a crowded release calendar with big titles like Patriot and Drishyam, which could limit screen availability for Aadu 3 if the release is pushed.
At the box office, the film will face competition from Ranveer Singh’s spy thriller Dhurandhar 2, which is also set to hit theatres on March 19. Despite the clash, trade analysts expect Aadu 3 to take a strong opening in Kerala and other key markets.
Given the popularity of the franchise and the return of the much-loved character Shaji Pappan, the film is expected to open big and could potentially register an opening day collection of over ₹10 crore.
